Components of IoT

Components of IoT

  • Sensors: Sensors help in collecting very minute data from the surrounding environment.
  • Devices: A device can have multiple sensors that can bundle together to do more than just sense things.
  • Connectivity: The sensors can be connected to the cloud through various mediums of communication and transports such as cellular networks, satellite networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wide-area networks (WAN), low power wide area network and many more.
  • Data Processing:  Once the data is collected and it gets to the cloud, the software performs processing on the acquired data.
  • User Interface: The information made available to the end-user in some way. This can achieve by triggering alarms on their phones or notifying through texts or emails.

Advantages of IoT

Advantages of IoT Improved Customer Engagement:  Current analytics suffer from blindspots and significant flaws inaccuracy; and as noted, engagement remains passive. IoT completely transforms this to achieve richer and more effective engagement with audiences. Efficient resource utilization:  If we know the functionality and the way that how each device work we definitely increase the efficient resource utilization as well as monitor natural resources. Technology Optimization: The same technologies and data which improve the customer experience also improve device use, and aid in more potent improvements to technology. IoT unlocks a world of critical functional and field data. Minimize human effort:  As the devices of IoT interact and communicate with each other and do a lot of tasks for us, then they minimize the human effort. Reduced Waste: IoT makes areas of improvement clear. Current analytics give us superficial insight, but IoT provides real-world informa...
